This was my first time using Photoshop as a tool for illustration, and I just wanted to experiment and further develop an art style. I wanted to create a somewhat cartoon-like character and give her a semi realistic shading. Simply because this is an aestetic that I like.

I wanted the picture to have contrast so I made it mostly cool colored but made her lips bright red to make them stand out against the rest of the colors. The title of the piece is Jasmine, so I also wanted to use some jasmine flowers in the piece. You can see them in the background.
